Seniors Jae-Yeon Yoo and Sam Kyzivat have been responsible for quite a bit of the live music at Bowdoin over the past few years. As performers, composers, and arrangers, their music has been heard in Pickard Theater, Studzinski Recital Hall, Kresge Auditorium, and in many other venues around campus. They have also arranged music for student films, including one they worked on together.
Kyzivat and Yoo are both majoring in music, focusing specifically on theory and composition. Bowdoin’s music students can concentrate in one of the the music department’s three tracks: theory and composition, performance, or music in social and historical context.
The two videos below are part of a series of videos that will profile several music majors in the three tracks.
