Master Builder Assembles Bowdoin’s Lego Bear

For the second year, Lego brought in Chris Steininger, a master model builder, to coach people on how to put together the Bowdoin Lego bear. He spent the afternoon in Smith Union’s Sail Room, handing out Lego pieces and instructions on how to assemble the bear.

Steininger’s visit coincided with a visit from Mike Moynihan ’89, the vice president of marketing for Lego Group. Moynihan was on campus to give a talk for the students enrolled in the Leadership Development Series, which is a semester-long program run by Student Activities.

Mark Roe, another Lego employee, designed the bear for Bowdoin last year.
