This past weekend at Bowdoin, dozens of alumni returned to campus for the 2013 Alumni College, “The Afterlife of the American Civil War,” and engaged with faculty in hands-on studies of culture, music, art and poetry in commemoration of the Civil War’s sesquicentennial anniversary.
