On Saturday, the Office of Residential Life organized Bowdoin’s first annual Zombie Run, which was part 1.5-mile race around Farley Field, part obstacle course and part escaping the clutches of zombies.
At the finish line, survivors and zombies got to enjoy food and live music from the Bowdoin Music Collective Band and Bowdoin Taiko.
Prior to the run, Masque and Gown invited a professional special effects artist to demonstrate make-up techniques, such as how to simulate bullet wounds and scars on actors. Students attending the workshop were able to practice their new skills on the students who volunteered to be zombies.
