Slideshow: Senior Class Gift Campaign Kick-Off Reception Archives

About 150 members of the Class of 2012 attended an event at Watson Arena during which they were issued a special challenge: to help others as they’ve been helped, by making their first contribution to the Alumni Fund before the fiscal year ends June 30. President Barry Mills asked the soon-to-be graduates to think about the ways in which alumni have impacted their lives at Bowdoin, and reiterated it is now their turn. Senior Class Leadership Project Director R.J. Shea ’12 told the crowd the focus is not on the amount of money raised as much as it is on participation, and that hitting 60 percent participation triggers a $10,000 contribution to the Class of 2012 Scholarship Fund by two anonymous alumni donors.
