Christopher Hill ’74 suggests that President Obama’s recent decision to end talks with the Iraqi government on the status of US troops might bring soldiers home as early as Christmas.

Hill, formerly the  U.S. Ambassador to Iraq and Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia, and currently dean of the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, shares his insights on the potential domestic and international outcomes of American troop withdrawal from the Middle East in his latest commentary for Project Syndicate.
