Museum’s Chinese Bronze Exhibition: ‘Impressive, Ancient, Fun’ (Portland Press Herald)

In a review of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art‘s exhibition of Chinese bronzes, art historian Daniel Kany calls Along the Yangzi River: Regional Culture of the Bronze Age from Hunan “extraordinary” and goes on to write, “I don’t recall ever seeing a show in Maine with this historical depth, and I have seen few exhibitions of antiquities that are so fun or satisfying.”
