Video: NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee Michaela Calnan ’11 on Leadership (NCAA)

Michaela Calnan ’11, a standout on Bowdoin’s ice and field hockey teams, was honored among nine finalists for the 2011 NCAA Woman of the Year award Sunday, at a ceremony in Indianapolis, where the award was presented to Stevens Institute of Technology graduate Laura Barito. Calnan was Bowdoin’s first finalist for the award, which honors those who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academic achievement, athletic excellence, community service and leadership. Calnan shares her thoughts on leadership in this video:
