Homecoming Weekend Includes Sixth Running of Phil Soule 5K ‘Phlail’

A beloved figure at the College, Phil Soule coached football for 39 years and was also an assistant coach in lacrosse, squash and track. Soule also did stints as head coach for the baseball and wrestling teams. A competitive runner and one of the founders of the Maine Rowdies running club, Soule counted marathons, ultra-marathons and triathlons among his favorite events.
