Photo Gallery: Kresge Auditorium Renovations

Just in time for the start of the academic year, renovations to Kresge Auditorium in the Visual Arts Center are complete. From top to bottom, and wall to wall, a complete freshening-up of the space includes a new ceiling system, seating, paint and carpeting, as well as new sound and lighting systems.

The first Common Hour of the year will be held Friday, September 9, in Kresge, where Associate Professor of English Ann Kibbie will present the talk, “On the Brink of the Grave: Stories of Transfusion,” at 12:30 p.m.

Later that afternoon, Carol Troyen, Curator Emerita of American Paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, presents the lecture, “I come here to rest and to paint a little”: Edward Hopper in Maine,” to begin at 4:30 p.m.
