Video: Artist Alex Katz Talks Edward Hopper Archives

Internationally renowned artist Alex Katz has been spending summers in Maine since 1949. Over the course of his lengthy career, he has continually reinvented landscape and figure painting and, inevitably, has spent time considering the work of Edward Hopper. Katz designed the spare and elegant installation of the Museum of Art’s current exhibition, Edward Hopper’s Maine, and in this video shares some of his thoughts about Hopper’s work.
