Bowdoin Sophomore Serves Up Tennis Tournament to Battle Cancer

Bowdoin rising sophomore Sam King is teaming up with buddy Irwin Reibeisen to organize a tennis tournament this weekend to benefit the American Cancer Society. The pair have devoted much of their summer to organizing the Westchester County (NY) event, which will include a free youth clinic and silent auction. King, who hails from Rye Brook, N.Y., is a member of the Bowdoin men’s tennis team and a graduate of the Brunswick School in Greenwich, Conn., founded in 1902 by George E. Carmichael of the Bowdoin Class of 1897 and named for Brunswick, Maine.
