Bowdoin Alum’s Naan Heats Up ‘Hell’s Kitchen’

Tejus Ajmera ’05 may not be one of the aspiring chefs on the cooking competition-reality show Hell’s Kitchen, but he still had reason to be excited about a recent episode of the hit Fox series that featured his family’s Stonefire Naan as an ingredient for contestants to use. This was the first time the show has ever featured an individual food brand.

Ajmera is head of bakery operations for FGF Brands, the company that produces Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads. Stonefire Authentic is a family-owned bakery that uses a technology that emulates the intense heat of an ancient tandoor oven and a cooking method that dates back centuries.
