Athletics Names Three New Coaches

The Athletic Department recently added three new coaches to its ranks:

Maine native Jamie Dumont has returned to Bowdoin as an assistant coach for the Polar Bear men’s ice hockey team. No stranger to the College, Dumont served as an assistant for Bowdoin from 2001-2005.

Conor Smith is the new head coach of the men’s tennis program. A two-time conference coach of the year at Bridgewater (Va.) College, Smith replaces Colin Joyner, who stepped down this spring after six years at the helm of the Polar Bears.

KJ Krasco joins the women’s basketball team as assistant coach, replacing former assistant coach Alison Smith, who accepted a coaching position at the U.S. Naval Academy last month.
