On the Road with Angus King: Former Maine Gov. Chronicles His RV Travels (Washington Post)

After two-term Maine Governor Angus King H’07 left office in 2003, he and his family packed up a motor home and road-tripped the country for almost six months. King, Bowdoin College Distinguished Lecturer and one of Brunswick’s most recognizable residents, has turned his notes from that journey into a new book, Governor’s Travels: How I Left Politics, Learned to Back Up a Bus, and Found America, published this summer from Maine’s Down East Books.

It’s a fun book. This isn’t going to replace ‘Look Homeward, Angel’ in high school literature classes, but I hope people will enjoy it from the perspective of travel and RV-ing. -Angus King
