2011 Bowdoin International Music Festival Opens

More than 250 musicians from 25 countries arrive on campus and in Brunswick June 25 to study, teach, and perform at the Bowdoin International Music Festival.

Over the next six weeks, renowned performing artists and aspiring virtuosos will present more than 80 concerts from Portland to Sebasco.

This year’s Festival celebrates the great musical city of Vienna. From solo recitals and masterclasses to chamber concerts and full-scale orchestral performances, music lovers will have a wealth of  traditional and contemporary classical music to choose from.
