Evan Fricke ’11, Five Alumni Win NSF Research Fellowships

Senior Evan Fricke and five recent graduates – Cassandra Benkwitt ’08, Karen LaRocque ’07, Morgan MacLeod ’09, Danielle Marias ’10 and Liza Shoenfeld ’09 – have won National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships.

The NSF Fellowship Program awards fellowships for graduate study leading to research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in the fields of science and engineering relevant to the mission of the NSF. The three-year awards provide both stipends of $30,000 and tuition payments of $10,500 each year.
