Children’s Book Week and the Books of Bowdoin Authors

Children’s Book Week, observed nationwide since 1919, provides an opportunity to celebrate the stories and authors with connections to the College, from Paul Revere’s Ride, by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, a member of the Class of 1825, to The Magical Misadventures of Prunella Bogthisle, by Deva Fagan ’95, who is highlighted in the latest issue of Bowdoin magazine.

While Children’s Book Week is officially May 2-8, you can find a sampling of children’s books with a College connection anytime at The Bowdoin Store.
