Women’s Basketball – The Bowdoin College women’s basketball team advances to its ninth “Sweet Sixteen” appearance with a 61-53 victory over Mount Saint Mary College in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday evening at Morrell Gymnasium.
Men’s Hockey – The Polar Bears advance to their fifth NESCAC title game, defeating arch-rival Colby for the third time this season with a 3-1 victory in the NESCAC Semifinals at Williams College on Saturday afternoon. They will face the host Ephs at 2:00 p.m. Sunday for the conference championship.
Women’s Hockey – The top-seeded Middlebury College women’s ice hockey team scored three times in the second period on its way to a 4-0 victory over Bowdoin in the NESCAC Semifinals Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears finish their season with a record of 15-9-2, the most wins for the squad since the 2006-07 campaign.
Indoor Track & Field – The Bowdoin women’s track team finished 15th, while the men placed 23rd, at the ECAC Championship meet in New York Saturday.
