Men’s Ice Hockey – Bowdoin first-year Colin Downey scored the game-winner in overtime to give the fifth-seeded Polar Bear men’s ice hockey team a 4-3 victory over fourth-seeded Amherst in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Tournament Saturday.
Women’s Ice Hockey – Dominique Lozzi scored a pair of goals and goaltender Tara Connolly stopped 24 shots to lead the fourth-seeded Bowdoin College women’s ice hockey team to a 2-1 win over fifth-seeded Connecticut College in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Tournament Saturday at Sidney J. Watson Arena.
