Britt Long ’92 appears in the documentary Buck, about horse trainer Buck Brannaman, who was the inspiration for Robert Redford’s film, The Horse Whisperer. Buck recently won The Audience Award for U.S. Documentary at the 20011 Sundance Film Festival. In the film, Britt, who was an attendee at a horsemanship clinic conducted by Brannaman, is interviewed “about what the clinics and his methods taught me regarding horses (expected) and general life skills (unexpected).” Britt is also the unidentifiable silhouette that ropes the camera at one point in the movie. “Lacrosse skills do translate,” she jokes.
