Watson Arena Packed for U.S.A. vs. Sweden

A near-capacity crowd of 2,000 fans packed Sidney J. Watson Arena on Friday night to see the U.S. Women’s National Team pull away in a 4-1 win over Sweden in a Four Nations Cup Pre-Tournament game. Following the game, the full house was treated to an autograph session with the team, which included 11 Olympians.

    I remember the US National having their initial training camp at Bowdoin in 1956 the year the Dayton Arena opened. Very exciting
