Field Hockey: The Bowdoin College field hockey team will look to win their sixth NESCAC Championship this weekend at Tufts University. The second-seeded Polar Bears face fourth-seeded Amherst at 1:30 p.m. today with hopes of advancing to Sunday’s NESCAC title game at noon. For a complete tournament preview, visit the NESCAC Website. Live coverage of Sunday’s championship game will be provided on the Tufts Athletics website.
Men’s Soccer: Due to wet conditions at Bowdoin’s men’s soccer field, both NESCAC Semifinal games scheduled for today will be played on the women’s soccer field. The Bowdoin-Wesleyan semifinal is slated for an 11:00 a.m. start. The second semifinal between Amherst and Middlebury will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one, no earlier than 1:30 p.m. There will be no video webcast of Saturday’s games, but live statistics will be provided for both matches.
