Iris Levin ’05, Research in Galapagos Island Birds Highlighted

Iris Levin ’05 is featured for her work studying frigatebirds of the Galapagos Islands in the “Editor’s Choice” section in Science and in Science News. Levin is a co-author of the paper “Long-term Isolation of a Highly Mobile Seabird” in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences.

Levin is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Missouri; the focus of her study is on the population structure of frigatebirds across the Galapagos Islands.
