Sit Down! Chairs from Six Centuries, an exhibition celebrating the Bowdoin College Museum of Art’s distinguished collection of American and European furniture, will be on view at the museum from Oct. 21, 2010, through Jan. 16, 2011. Open houses, gallery talks, and lectures-including several Parents Weekend events-illuminate the exhibition and collections.
