It would appear (at least to those with the benefit of major magnification) that the proton is 0.00000000000003 millimeters smaller than researchers previously thought. Scarcely a smidge, right? The new measurement could mean there is a gap in existing quantum mechanics theories, prompting one physicist to declare,“There is really something seriously wrong someplace.”
