Baseball: The second day of the NESCAC Baseball Tournament was suspended in-game due to the rain. Bowdoin leads Wesleyan 7-2 in the fourth inning of an elimination game at Bentley University. The game will resume on Sunday morning following the completion of the Tufts-Williams game scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
Men’s Lacrosse: The Middlebury College men’s lacrosse team pulled away from Bowdoin in the second half of a 13-9 win in the NESCAC Semifinals on Saturday at Tufts University. The Panthers, ranked 16th nationally, will play for the conference crown on Sunday. The Polar Bears likely finish their season with a record of 9-7.
Softball: The Wesleyan University softball team scored ten runs in the first two innings on their way to a 12-6 win over Bowdoin in the second day of the NESCAC Tournament at Williams College on Saturday. With the loss, the Polar Bears will play an elimination game against the Ephs on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. The winner advances to play Wesleyan at 11:30 a.m. and, if necessary, again immediately following.
Track and Field: A pair of school records were broke as the Bowdoin College outdoor track and field teams posted several impressive finishes at the Open New England Championships hosted by Northeastern University this weekend.
