Renewable Energy: Solar, Wind, and…Tire Burning? (Chicago Tribune) Archives

When it comes to producing large amounts of toxic air pollution, tire burning is right up there. Even so, a bill before the Illinois legislature could give the practice the same “green” status as pollution-free wind and solar power.
